How it works

  1. A registry of local businesses and places

    Stratokon keeps a registry of local businesses and places. Each entry is the reference point that AI answers are matched against.

  2. The Index Run

    An Index Run asks AI engines the questions customers ask, then records which businesses each engine recommends. The engines are Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity, with Grok planned for the next run.

    In the first run, Gemini and Claude (with web search) answered 72 questions each. ChatGPT answered 2 and Perplexity 1, collected by hand.

  3. Best Of lists

    Best Of lists are built from the recorded answers. The first list is for Sussex County, Delaware. Later places get their own lists.
